CASE STUDY

Waste heat recovery | Visalia (United States)

This project involves installing a condensation economizer at the California Dairies plant in Visalia, California. This equipment recovers waste heat from the flue gases produced by the gas boilers in order to preheat the water fed to the boilers.

Commissioned in August 2022, the project will reduce annual gas consumption by 9%. The $1.4 million investment was entirely financed by Kyotherm through a Heat Supply Agreement between California Dairies and a joint venture owned by Kyotherm and Skyven Technologies, the project developer.
