Geothermal projects can capture and harness heat extracted from the earth. Shallow geothermal energy or deep geothermal energy generate different heating temperatures for varied applications. Geothermal energy is often preferred for its non-seasonal aspect, it does not need to be stored and can be used both to generate heating and cooling.
We invest both in shallow geothermal projects harnessing low temperature heat with heat pumps or deep geothermal projects that can capture higher-temperature heat thanks to geothermal doublets.
Geothermal energy offers major advantages for heat production, particularly from an economic point of view. Geothermal energy offers stable operating costs, reducing the risks associated with fluctuating fossil fuel prices. In addition, geothermal installations have a relatively long lifespan, reducing maintenance and replacement costs. Geothermal energy is not only resilient, but also available over almost 90% of the France territory.
