Fast-growing Kyotherm is looking for an Investment Officer / Director to strengthen its team. Position based in Paris (Opéra)

Profile wanted:

  • H/F
  • 2 to 8 years’ experience (excluding internships and work-study) in financing infrastructure projects, particularly in the energy sector
  • Graduated from a prestigious engineering or business school (top 5)
  • French, English, proficiency in a 3rd language is appreciated


As an Investment Officer / Director, your role will be to:

  • Identify and confirm investment opportunities with developers, project leaders, industrial or technical partners.
  • Analyze the technical and economic relevance of these projects.
  • Identify and mitigate underlying technical and contractual risks.
  • Seeking out new projects and developing Kyotherm’s portfolio in France and abroad.

Participate in all stages of the investment, from origination through the due diligence phase to presentation to the investment committee

  • Draft the project’s main contracts, negotiate them with stakeholders, in conjunction with external consultants (legal, technical, etc.).
  • Convince banks to lend a large part of the financing requirement to the project company on a non-recourse basis.
  • Assure the technical, operational and financial monitoring of projects, participating in internal governance and decision-making bodies, in liaison with the Finance Department.

Skills required:

  • Technical understanding of the technologies addressed.
  • Ability to oversee modeling and financial valuation of projects.
  • Ability to structure complex projects financially and legally.
  • Ability to identify associated risks and measure their potential impact.
  • Ability to negotiate major contracts and present investment opportunities to Kyotherm’s top management.
