In addition, it will supply heat and power to the customer\u2019s processes. Since the wooden products of the client go through a heat treatment process to avoid case hardening, the energy needs of the site are quite high.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"block-6a4e5257-df32-43f2-8649-bf7907329ff8\" class=\"block-editor-block-list__block wp-block rich-text block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block\" role=\"textbox\" aria-label=\"R\u00e9digez un titre\u2026\" data-block=\"6a4e5257-df32-43f2-8649-bf7907329ff8\" data-type=\"core\/heading\" data-title=\"Titre\"><strong>8,000 tons of CO<sub>2<\/sub> saved per year thanks to biomass<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The biomass CHP plant will produce 7,500 MWh of renewable heat and 950 MWh of low-carbon electricity.\u00a0 Given that the installation will eliminate the need of an oil-fired boiler, the project will generate carbon savings estimated at around 8,000 tons of CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0per year. For instance, this represents a reduction equivalent to the annual CO<sub>2<\/sub>\u00a0emissions of 1,500 UK citizens.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Recovery of production waste<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p id=\"block-53115e33-c478-4759-a79f-86e6dfb21a64\" class=\"block-editor-block-list__block wp-block rich-text block-editor-rich-text__editable wp-block\" role=\"textbox\" aria-label=\"Bloc paragraphe\" data-block=\"53115e33-c478-4759-a79f-86e6dfb21a64\" data-type=\"core\/paragraph\" data-title=\"Paragraphe\">The plant will be fueled with wood waste from the customer\u2019s industrial process. This project will therefore have a limited impact on the precious wood resources in accordance with the principles of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ellenmacarthurfoundation.org\/explore\/the-circular-economy-in-detail\">circular economy<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Kyotherm confirms its strong implantation in the UK\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Funding for this project brings the total installed or under construction capacity of Kyotherm\u2019s projects in the UK to 55 MW.
